TAROT READING AND ENERGY

Many a times, I come across clients who are curious about how tarot reading works as a method of divination.

Tarot reading is basically reading the querent’s energy through cards. Tarot readers are able to pick on this energy and interpret it for the querent. There are two ways we do tarot readings and they differ only in approach otherwise they yield similar results. They are:

IN PERSON READINGS – In this case, the querent is asked to sit right across the reader. I ask clients not to keep their hands or feet folded in such a case. It is done to ensure the energy is not blocked from me. Thereafter, every tarot reader likes to read cards in their own way- some use spreads where certain cards have defined placements, some like to shuffle cards themselves and don’t want the clients to touch them, few would ask clients to shuffle cards once or cut the cards before using the deck.

What I like to do, however, is one card for one question and I prefer the client to pull out a card each time with their left hand, so that I’m able to read their subconscious mind and its energy. Later, I cleanse my deck of any residual energy but I feel it helps me understand the querent’s concerns in a better way. The accuracy is astonishing sometimes, even for the clients.

The querent is often not able to put their finger on the root cause of their troubles due to the interference of their mind/the push and pull between their mind and heart. In such cases, tarot reading helps bring out the hidden energy/ thoughts/fears/insecurities to the fore. It’s interesting to note the reactions of the clients at times. They vary from immediate astonishment and acceptance to complete denial. I’ve had clients come back to me saying that the cards were right after all.

DISTANT READINGS – In this case, I definitely have an advantage over few others since I can’t read the querent’s energy in person. I’ve learnt Reiki. So before reading, I connect with the querent through distant Reiki symbol and then I prefer to pull out cards on their behalf with my left hand so that even my mind should not interfere with the process of reading their energy. All it needs is little extra effort that pays off when I read for clients on call/online.

So, this is how tarot works. I hope many of you will now be able to understand how tarot readers tap into your energy and read it for you, removing layers to what you are trying to get at. In the process, we often come across energy blockages also, which do not let you manifest what you desire. Once you understand what’s blocking you, you are in a better position to rectify it so you can achieve success, abundance and fulfilment. To conclude, I’d say tarot cards are a great way to receive guidance whenever you are in a spot and cards never lie, so make sure you consult somebody with experience and good intent on their side.
