Here’s Why and how You Need to Cleanse Your Aura
Have you ever entered a room and felt uneasy for no reason? Or talked to someone and left the conversation feeling completely drained out? It’s a feeling you just know but don’t know how to describe. You’re not imagining it — you’re sensing an energetic shift. Our energy constantly interacts with people, places, and even our own thoughts. And just like our bodies need a regular shower, our energy needs a cleansing too.
Here are a few powerful yet simple methods of aura cleansing — a must-do ritual for anyone looking to feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

What Is Your Aura, Really?
The human aura is an energetic field surrounding the body, and it's believed to reflect their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state. It's considered a window into a person's inner world, revealing their thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being. It is a dynamic representation of a person's inner world and their connection to the larger energies of the universe.
Your Aura constantly absorbs and responds to your environment. That means everything from stressful meetings to scrolling endlessly on social media can affect it.
Why Does Your Aura Need a Cleanse?
Because your aura acts like an energetic sponge, it easily collects:
Negative emotions — stress, anxiety, anger (yours and other people’s).
Stagnant energy — from being in toxic environments or unresolved issues.
Energetic clutter — like "cords" from unhealthy relationships or drama.
Environmental noise — even too much tech and screen time can overload it.
When your aura is overloaded or cloudy, you might notice:
Feeling tired despite resting.
Mood swings or emotional outbursts.
Brain fog and lack of focus.
Feeling “stuck” or blocked creatively.
Getting overwhelmed easily in crowds or intense conversations.
Like, we cannot avoid catching the dirt if we play in mud all day but we can take a good long shower with fragrant soap to be cleansed, feeling clean, light and fresh. Similarly we cannot do much about the environment we live in or the people we interact with but we can definitely get our vital energy fresh and moving by following simple aura cleansing methods.
3 Simple, Powerful Ways to Cleanse Your Aura
#1 -The “Shower of Light” Visualization (Do This Daily):
Every time you're in the shower, try this quick energetic cleanse.
How-to: Imagine the water is pure golden or white light. As it flows over you, visualize it washing away any negativity, stress, or heaviness.
Say silently or aloud: “I cleanse my aura of all lower energies. I am renewed, refreshed, and filled with light.”
Feel your energy getting brighter and your mood lifting instantly— just like magic. This first tip should be a juicy one. It’ll keep your readers with you.

#2 - Salt Bath Ritual (Weekly Reset): Salt is a natural purifier.
Ancient cultures used it for spiritual cleansing, and you can too.
How-to: Fill a warm bath and add 1–2 cups of Epsom salt, sea salt, or pink Himalayan salt(if none of these are available you can use common salt also)Add a few drops of essential oils (lavender, frankincense, or eucalyptus, sage work wonders).
While soaking (15–20 min): Focus on your breath. Picture the saltwater drawing out energetic toxins from your body and aura. After 20 mins finish it with a fresh rinse and imagine all the negative energy swirling down the drain.
The middle tips should go into a bit more detail, explain more. Keep them short and to-the-point. E.g., if you're writing a post about how to blog, you can write something like: "Decide how often you want to blog. Be realistic about it. Think you can blog twice a month? Commit to once a month and stick to it."

"Having an aura cleanse was the best thing I ever did. It gets rid of all that debris of other people's energy that might be clinging onto you. You gotta get rid of that stuff."
-by Lisa Newton (from her book, Cosmic Ordering With Vision Boards)
#3 - Smudging with Sage or Palo Santo:
Smudging is a sacred ritual from indigenous traditions, known to clear heavy or stagnant energy.
How-to: Light a sage bundle or Palo Santo stick. Let the smoke rise gently. Cleanse your aura by waving the smoke around your body — head to toe, front and back.
Set a powerful intention like: “I release all unwanted energy. Only clarity and peace remain.
Tip: Always keep a window open so energy has a path to exit. Well ventilated spaces keep the Chi active.
Think of Aura Cleansing as Energetic Self-Care. Just like you wouldn’t go days without brushing your teeth or taking a shower, skipping aura cleansing can leave you feeling heavy and off-balance. It need not be a cumbersome ritual every day, even 5 minutes a day makes a difference.

Your energy is sacred. Protect it and Keep it clean.
