The Human Aura

Understanding the Human Aura

The word aura generates a lot of curiosity around it, it has also become a very “in” concept these days, be it an 80-year-old retired person seeking salvation or an 18-year-old trying to be cool with “spiritual stuff”. Let us try to understand the much-talked-about concept known as The Human Aura. In most of the books, you will come across a very simple definition i.e. an aura or energy field is a coloured emanation said to enclose a human body. Since ancient times we have seen pictures and paintings of different spiritual leaders across various traditions but one thing that is common among all of them is the halo that surrounds their head which is known as the Aura- energy field. The aura is not visible to the naked eye, but some people can perceive its energy and light as colours, frequencies, and patterns.

The human aura is said to be composed of subtle energy layers that emanate from the physical body and can extend up to several feet away. These layers include the Physical body (Annamaya Kosha), Vital body (Pranamaya Kosha), Emotional body (Manonamaya Kosha), Intellectual body (Vigayanamaya Kosha), Causal body (Ananada maya Kosha). Each of these layers corresponds to a different aspect of our being, from the physical body to our thoughts, emotions, and spirituality. Each layer or plane is said to have its unique vibrational frequency and its vibration can be seen in the form of different colours (by people with special psychic abilities i.e., Aura Readers. Even though the vibrational energy of these plains varies, they are still interlinked, creating a very interesting equation to the human existence.

A healthy aura signifies healthy body, mind, and spirit. Monitoring the changes in aura colours can help you in diagnosing ailments. It is not easy to see the human aura with naked eyes, but clairvoyant and aura readers are able to see various colours of the human aura. Pure and vibrant colours indicate a healthy body while dull and murky colours are a sign of impending illness or discomfort in the human body.

The aura is highly affected by strong emotions like anger, hatred, lust, greed, overindulgence, worry, fear, etc. These emotions create a disbalance in the frequency of vibration in the aura causing the change in colour of the aura. Anyone can improve the colour and vibrational frequency of their aura by avoiding these emotions and by practicing Yoga, Reiki, meditation, Tai chi, Pranic healing etc also by bringing discipline in life.

Aura can be affected by external and internal influences and there are various methods by which aura cleansing can be done to improve health and manifest our desires. We will discuss more about Aura cleansing in our next article, till then enjoy this read and keep waiting .. love and light to all
